Refund Policy

  1. Overview

At Sligo Tours, we aim to provide an enjoyable and reliable experience for all customers. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for bookings and tours.

By booking a tour with Sligo Tours, you agree to this Refund Policy.

  1. Customer Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible by email at info@sligotours.ie.

Refunds are provided according to the following cancellation terms:

  • More than 7 days before the scheduled tour date — Full refund
  • Between 3 and 7 days before the tour date — 50% refund
  • Less than 72 hours before the tour date — No refund

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.

  1. No-Show Policy

Customers who fail to attend a booked tour without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.

  1. Cancellations by Sligo Tours

Sligo Tours reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify tours due to circumstances including:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Operational requirements
  • Insufficient participant numbers
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Where a tour is cancelled by Sligo Tours, customers will be offered one of the following:

  • A full refund
  • An alternative tour date
  • An alternative tour experience
  1. Late Arrivals

Tours operate on scheduled times and cannot generally be delayed for late arrivals.

Customers arriving late may miss part or all of the tour and may not be eligible for a refund.

  1. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider or bank.

  1. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds may not be provided in the following situations:

  • Failure to attend the tour
  • Late arrival
  • Voluntary early departure from a tour
  • Failure to follow guide instructions or safety requirements
  • Removal from a tour due to inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour
  1. Exceptional Circumstances

Sligo Tours may, at its sole discretion, consider refunds or partial refunds in exceptional situations.
